Whether you are chilling out, or have lots of activities planned, we have provided you with a checklist of what and what not to pack.

What to wear while glamping will depend on the weather, and the activities you have planned, which will help determine what kind of clothing to pack.

We all know why Ireland is soooo beautiful, green and rugged! It’s all down to the Irish weather. If you have spent any amount of time in Ireland, you know, the weather can be a little unpredictable at times. But worry not; as long as you are prepared, you can enjoy the outdoors come rain or shine.

It’s a good idea to keep track of the weather forecast coming up to your stay, you can keep an eye on the 10-day forecast download this app and set location to “Thomastown, County Kilkenny”. This will help you plan for your Glamping trip.

When packing, consider items that will work well with each other to prevent overpacking.  Adding accessories can help change things up a bit. Layering is best; with T-shirts, chunky cardigans, or sweaters. For the boho glamping vibe, in mid-summer, maxi dresses work well with both pumps or boots. Consider a jacket that will work well with every outfit.  Remember to take into consideration any activities you might have planned, or if you have a romantic dinner date in the evening time. Be prepared for cooler evenings with woollen jumpers, or fleeces for sitting around the campfire.

Pick sturdy footwear suitable for all terrain, and exploring the local area. Make sure you break those hiking boots in well before your trip, so you don’t spoil your holiday with sore feet! A pretty and practical pair of sandals or sneakers will work well both day and night-time, and look perfect for a dinner date too.

Having a slip-on pair of shoes will come in handy for walks around the glamp site and a quick night-time trip to the bathroom. Love them or hate them, Crocs are ideal, but any slip-on shoe will do!
