Glamping in Kilkenny
Everything has been specifically designed with consideration of our guests needs and placing an emphasis on muted luxury. Our Canvas Safari tents are designed with the Irish weather in mind, promising you a comfortable and relaxing stay. With their gorgeous rustic-chic interiors and the comfiest, hotel-style beds with luxurious bed linen. Our recently renovated farm buildings house our high-spec bathrooms stocked with toiletries from Irish brand The Handmade Soap Company. Our beautifully designed communal kitchen and dining area, you’ll find your glamping experience with us comfortable, as well as luxurious!
Food & Drink
Our delicious food has always attracted guests to stay with us. Whilst you have the flexibility to self-cater during your stay, there is always a chance to sample some of our food, whenever you choose to stay with us.
The Setting
Set on 10 acres of beautiful Kilkenny countryside, with our 200-year-old farmhouse positioned on the courtyard of the 16th Century ruins of Legan Castle. Its charm and history make it the most dreamy and romantic setting.
Our intimate site places an emphasis on privacy, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in nature and switch off.
With our luxury glamping tents pitched in a long meadow beside our Connemara ponies, providing an idyllic and intimate escape for family, friends and lovers alike.

What an absolute Ball we had this weekend. It was lashing rain when we arrived our first night was a wash out but it just made the experience so much more fun and truly showed how warm and cosy all the amazing touches are that Caroline has worked so hard to create. As a family of 5 with 3 young kids we slept under the sound of rain hitting off our Bell tent in the cosiest beds and hot water bottles as a gorgeous added touch. We woke to a lovely bright morning enjoy our brekkie and then went to meet the horses a trip to remember s’mores, BBQ, Prosecco and the nicest pavlova I’ve ever had in my life was such a wonderful weekend away so nice to switch off and just enjoy nature but have all the luxuries you’d want at hand. We will be back.
Fantastic 2 night stay in Legan Castle. The facilities were top class and so clean. Caroline was an amazing host and couldn't have been more helpful not to mention the gorgeous assistant Arthur. We would definitely recommend and will be back again.

Our stunning property is ideally located near the picturesque village of Thomastown, and whilst within a rural setting in the Irish countryside, we are less than 15 kilometres from Kilkenny City. Close to all local amenities. We are within 1 hour and 30 mins from Dublin and easily accessible from many Irish towns and Cities. With transport links via train and bus into Thomastown.
